Reviews
Fantastic museum with interesting (inter)national archeological findings. Very friendly and competent staff. Furthermore, the tours given in the nearby caves are absolutely fantastic and worth waiting for (they take place every half hour). P.S. There is a cosy micro-brewery close by: On a hot day a cold Raspberry Berliner Weiße or a fresh Session IPA can be very much recommended!
I went on this archaeological on the way from Avignon to Lyon and it was worth stopping by.
The museum and the caves are very interesting to visit.
Nice museum and cave with early cave dwelling exposition and guided tour. Somewhat of a walk between the two, but part of the experience. Take water with on hot days.
Beautiful and the guide was also open to answer questions and add info.
Very interesting location. Our guide was informative too.
After more than 350 steps to climb (thank you for thinking of installing benches to rest a little along the route), you will have the pleasure of visiting two very pretty little caves: that of Nero and the Fox's hole. You will also have a nice viewpoint to admire.
The guide was very friendly and her presentation very good 👍
The climb to the site (natural steps) is well laid out with explanatory panels and small benches to sit on if necessary. It is also a hiking trail. Panoramic view.
Very interesting guided tour with real-size men and bears which allows you to imagine the place a little better.
I highly recommend and will return there on occasion. Thank you for this beautiful moment
Very interesting with good explanations on its 2 small caves as well as the museum, just... it is forbidden to take pictures in the caves even without flash, so 4 stars
